QUALIFICATIONS

National Diploma Industrial Engineering or BTECH or B degree in Supply Chain Management.

The Graduate-In-Training will be exposed to the following areas, within the Supply Chain – Logistics, Warehousing and distribution environment: 

Planning: üForecasting; üPrioritization of delivery dates for clients needs; üProduction orders and time booking; üHow to manage material components, and mitigate against shortages; ü Investigation of exceptions & production orders MRP reports; üMaterial capacity; ü Allocation of material for orders; ü MRP controlling and capacity planning.

Warehouse Operations: üMaterial and components management; üFlow of material to production; üDaily cycle counting; ü Stock control, accuracy and reports; üClient liaison; üFlow of material to production.

Logistics management: üControl of supply chain logistics operations (Incl.: warehousing, packaging and shipping/receiving);  üSetting up and monitoring daily shipments; üCo-ordination and integration of such aspects as engineering, procurement, financial management, environmental management, configuration, test, manufacturing, integrated logistics support, maintenance and inventory management to implement projects; üAnalysis of logistics functions, conducts material support planning, and management of quality assurance for stored assets; üPromotion improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of supply and logistics management programs; üHow to manage of critical aspects of development, production, deployment and integrated logistics support of systems; ü Order cycle and associated information systems; üControl of quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods; üProcess Re-engineering; ü üThe ddesign and development reporting system; üImplementation of  health and safety procedures; ürepeated twice
